The cake was a hit at my holiday luncheon, my coworkers loved it and many took a slice home. The cake was larger than expected, probably 9 inches or larger and $40. They sell large cake slices for $4. The strawberry shortcake slice was - AMAZING. Sometimes you just want a simple moist cake and that's exactly what it was. I will definitely be back. And I am sure my coworkers will request that cake from now on.

Someone on Reddit said this tres leches cake is the "most moist mouthful" of cake he/she had. Person's right though bc this cake was HEAVY. Milk was also oozing out the bottom of the cake. It was a tad bit TOO moist for me but this cake was soooo gooooood

Craving a Tres Leches cake and decided to stop by this small local bakery. This gotta be one of the best Tres Leches cake that I've tasted. Wasn't too sweet which was nice. Definitely a very heavy cake due to the ingredients. Cheap and delicious! Only $30 for a approx 8-9inch cake. IMO, I liked this cake more than La Nueva Bakery in Jackson Heights

I imagine it's because my face is the way it is, but the dude manning this extremely quiet bakeshop was not particularly interested in helping me out. All I wanted was to give him money for baked goods, which I thought was the whole point, but he seemed to think I was the man that peed in his morning cereal. It really wasn't me, I swear. It's a good thing that his cheerful welcome wasn't the only thing available...they actually have racks and racks full of all kinds of baked treats. There were cakes and doughnuts and cookies and muffins and more. There were pastries that I had no idea what they were, but was afraid to ask because this gentleman was obviously convinced that I was the guy that took his mother out for a nice seafood dinner and never called her again. Again, not me. So I just bought a doughnut for my wife, and an elephant ear (palmier) for me, and went on my way. Both of them were solid. I'd come back, if I wasn't afraid of being injured by the daggers the dude behind the counter was glaring at me.

They have an amazing selection of fresh and generous sized tres leche cake for $2.5 at the counter. Haven't tried anything else and go here just for the cake every few weeks or so.

Omg! I'm the first to write a review! What an honor. Stumbled in here to escape the cold and find my way home. What a warm welcome. I inhaled the sweet smell of freshly baked buns, rolls and pastries. The smell made me want to eat everything! There were so many choices. We settled on a churro each and this cinnamon bread that was good but kinda wet. Good but would probably try something else next time. Those churros though....they were fire! Warm and perfectly crispy and cinnamon-y. Could eat them all day.
